GENERAL STRIKE OF MINERS. SYDNEY, this day. A general strike of Barrier miners is threatened on Monday if the managers persist in their decision to meet the nonpolitical unions in conference. CHILIAN TRAINING-SHIP. SYDNEY, October 16. The Chilian training-ship General Baquedano, which is making a cruise round the world, sailed to-day for Auckland.
