West, late secretary of the Auckland City Band, who is leaving for Christcbureh n&xt week, was last evening presented with a handsome silver watch. bearing the following inscription: "Presented to P. M. West, Esq., by the members of the Auckland City- aa a token of esteem and appreciation of services rendered during hie long term of office. 2VR/U&."
