Joseph Hazlett and Joseph Scott, two stewards on the Moana, were to-day fined £25 each for 'being found with half a tin of opium in their possession. One had £ 102 on him when arrested, and the other £49. Th6y admitted that they had been concerned for some time in illegal bnriness in bringing opium in.
