The Biieves got ; " clear away. Some months afte\ the rob■o bery a man, who gave the name ol.Charles ie Graham, tried to pawn one of the-gtolen w gold watches at Port Melbourne.-. He '° I was arrested, and was committed for Vial lfc at Hamilton. When in the lockup, be 1 3 was interviewed by Mr Scott, as to tlr, 'h disposal of the proceeds of the robbery. l &' Graham promised, if'he'got a free pardon c. and £50, that he would reveal the locality of the plant, which, he said, was near a- Hamilton. He was convicted and seno- tenced to two years.
