An inquest on the body of the hoy GuDjt who was drowned at Chelsea, was neli yesterday afternoon, before the cortme*v Mr. T. Greshain, at the residence of Mfc Roberts, Birkenhead. The jnrdrs -we* Mr. R, E. Stott (foreman), Messrs. F. Townsend, L. Donnelly, SatcheD, J. JWt : and H- Jones. After hearing evidence, the jury retired to consider their verdict, but were unable to come to a decision, wishing to hear farther evidence as t* how the deceased got into the water. It was- decided to adjourn the further hearing until Wednesday next, Ist Julji at 2.30 pjn. at the Police Station.
