CLUB SWINGING.

BURROWS BEATS WORLD'S RECORD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Sunday. At 11.5 last night Tom Burrows laid down his clubs after swinging them continuously since 5.55 on Thursdcy morning, a period of 65h 10m. He thus broke the world's record put up by Griffiths in Sydney by sm. Burrows received a great reception from a very large audience on the completion of his self-imposed task. He finished strongly, giving a brisk exhibition for the last sm. Burrows left for Australia to-day. He meets Griffiths for the championship of the world in Adelaide on July 3, and then proceeds to the Franco-British Exhibition, probably returning to New Zealand next April.
