RESTRICTING THE SUPPLY.

(Received 5.20 a.m.) LONDON, June 14. Mr. Winston Churchill, President of the Board of Trade, in reply to a deputation of seamen, said that the Government intended to stop the increase of Chinese Eeamen r.t United Kingdom ports. The Board of Trade had prepared a circular imposing a language test. If that were not successful he would look to other methods.
