The combined Buller and West Coast team to play the Anglo-Welsh, team at Greymouth on Wednesday, June 17, is as follows: — McKay (West Coast), Maddison, Cotvin (Buller), Gomer (West Coast), De_ham (Buller), Sweefcman, Wade, Roberts. Houston, Bennett (West Coast). Blyth, Corbett, Hogg fBoller), Sothenm (West Coast), Hall, Brown (BnQer). Under tbe auspices of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Journalists, a social gathering of pressmen was held on Saturday night at the Strand Cafe, which was well attended. After full justice had been, done to the dinner, the evening was spent in a social manner, Mr W. S. Donglas presiding. Musical items were contributed by various members, and a number of toasts were duly honoured.
