Th* Imperial Service Ordar has been i amended to admit women companions j and also to entitle them to a medal for , m ritorious service. i The imperial Service Order was iostij rated by the present King on his coronation, as an order for members of the I administrative or clerical branches of tile , Civil service. It includes 435 companion*, iof whom 250 may belong to Home ser- [ vices and 175 to the colonial. Its badge bears the motto, "For Faithful Service,"' and itr designation is 1.5.0.
