At a sitting of the Court before Mr. Dyer, S.M., this morning, 28 names on the Auckland West Electoral Roll were ordered to be struck off on the application of the Registrar of Electors, ■ none of the persons objected to appearing. A small supply of the new roll for Auckland West is to hand, and may be obtained on payment of 1/- each. During the past tw.o weeks a dozen emigrants from the land of Confucius have been "initiated" at the Auckland Customs office. Last v week a half score of yellow men arrived.. Two of the members were very juvenile, being 12 years and 14 years respectively. The ages ranged to 41 years.
