The Post Office and the Central Hotel narrowly escaped destruction. SALVED CARGO. J: Prom. Star of Japan. (Received 8.30 a.m.) LOSTDOIK', May 11. : The first instalment of cargo salved from the Tyser liner Stnr of Japan, "wrecked near Cape Verde on April 14, has been despateched from the scene of the jrxeck to London.
