' (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) . WAIHI, this day; Charge Nurse Shillington, who has been appointed matron of the Waipiro Bay Hospital, left this morning. She was presented by the staff before leaving with a valuable silver-mounted writins desk and case of cake forks. Her departure is deeply regretted. The anniversary services of the Presbyterian Church were held yesterday. .Impressive addresses were given at each service by the Rev. W. White, M.A. The musical contributions of the choir, under the conductorship of Mr .T. Held, Included the 'Kyrie" from "Mozart's 12th Mass."
