IN RE COX'S CREEK DRAINAGE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Your correspondent, F. W. Chalmers, has hardly put his case strong enough on this heading. Th«re" are now, as the Health Department are aware, seven eases of typhoid in one small area, all to be attributed to the sewerage not being carried out far enough. Of these seven cases, four (my own son included) are now in the Auckland Hospital, and if some measures are not taken the epidemic will spread. —I am, etc., MONS de JOUGH. Grey Lynn.
