HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT.

The resolution recently passed at the Auckland Trades aitd Labour Council, after discussion of the case of a young lady sent to the hospital, reflecting on the management of the institution, was received at the Board's meeting to-day. The resolution'was: —"That this Counicl deplores the condition of affairs and mismanagement at present existing at the Auckland Hospital, and hopes that the Board will take immediate steps to prevent the possibility of similar cases as reported to the Council happening again, as it is a menace to the citizens of Auckland that such a state of things is allowed to exist in this enlightened and democratic community." . A report attached alleged that the young lady was only admitted to the "institution after considerable trouble, but that after she had been in bed about fifteen minutes the doctor ordered, her to leave the hospital as she did not belong to the Auckland district.
