SYDNEY, March 22.
In the match,, Australia v. Rest of Australia, in aid of the Noble testimonial fund, the latter made 259 in their first innings, Layer contributing 61. not out. Australia lias lost eight wickets for 412. The first six men were disposed : of for 225, but then Noble and Gregory became and altered the complexion of the game. ■
The principal scores for Australia were —-Ransford G3, Hill 52,: Noble S7. Gre-gory-106, Armstrong 37., Windsor 3}j not out. Trump er made a duck.
