DEVONPORT POST OFFICE.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR OPENING. A telegram received by the Mayor of Devonport (Mr. William Handley) yesterday from the Prime Minister proposed Thursday afternoon as a suitable date for the opening of the new Devonport Post Office. The Mayor telegraphed his agreement to this proposal, and the ceremony will accordingly be carried out by Sir Joseph Ward at half-past three in the afternoon on the day referred to.
