GREATER AUCKLAND.

FILLING IN THE DETAILS. The second meeting of delegates to the drainage conference was held at the Atunieipal Chambers last evening, the' Mayor of Auckland, Mr. A. M. Myers, presiding. The meeting, which was held in committee, was called for the purpose of arranging details in connection with the Greater Auckland scheme., the principle of which, was affirmed at the previous meeting. It was agreed that there should be a ward system for a number of years, and that each borough coming in should have representation on the Council. Good progress was made in the discussion of details, and the meeting was finally adjourned until Friday, April 3rd, to enable particulars with relation to the financial aspect to be collected.
