MASONIC INSTALLATION.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) COROMANDEL, this day. The annual installation of Worshipful Master and the investiture of officers o£ I Lodge Coromandel, No. 17, took place in the Masonic Hall last evening, in the presence of a large number of brethren. Mr. Geo. F. Mellars, who had been elected to the position of W.M., was duly installed by Brother R. E. Jamieson, LP.M., and Brother A. King, P.M. The working tools were presented as follows:—Third degree, Brother H. R. Hyatt, P.M.; second degree, Brother W. H. French P.M.; first degree, Brother H. Rostgard, P.M. The address to the W.M. was delivered by Bro. H. Bennett, P.M.; that to the wardens by Brother H. R. Hyatt, P.M.; and to the brethren by Brother A. King, P.M. The following officers were then invested by the newly-installed W. Master:—l.P.M., Brother R. E. Jamieson; S.W., Brother J. M. Bridson; J. W., Brother T. B. Tanner; chaplain, Brother 11. Bennett P.M.; treasurer, Brother G. St. George; secretary, Brother A. Kin" P.M.; 5.8., Brother J. Cleeve; Brother A. H. Gatland; 1.G., Brother j! W. Barker; tyler, Brother A. Kelso, P.M.; organist, Bro. W. H. French, P.m! During the evening, Brother H. R. P.M., who is leaving Coromandel, "was presented with a handsome secretary's jewel, and the retiring W.M. (Brother R. E. Jamieson) was also presented with a handsome Past-Master's jewel. The brethren afterwards adjourned to a banquet, provided by the W.M., when a most enjoyable time was spent.
