THE SALVATION ARMY WORK AT BELL'S ISLAND.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Will you allow mc space for a few remarks re the criticism, by the .Liberal and Labour Association and their president, of the work taken up by the Salvation Army at Bell's Island? Had Mr. Nerheny, previous to the Army taking up this work, pro-posed his scheme, his present action might have been excusable, but in condemning and insinuating false motives to a body who are doing their best to help their fellow creatures, 1 think the Liberal president has gone altogether out of his latitude.-—1 am, etc., A LOVER OF JUSTICE.
