A CROP OF FORTUNE TELLERS. i (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) j CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Madame St. Leon, for reading the palm lof Constable Ingram was fined 20/ and costs. She said that the constable was bad tempered and could not stand too many masters, but that he would be left money or property, and would have two wives. | _ Mrs. Gihbs, another fortune teller, was 'similarly fned, as were Madame Kieler, Mrs. Wood, and Madame L'Esperance. Mr. Kay, S.M., said that if some people who went to fortune tellers could be brought up there would be less inducement on the part of the public to be gulled.
