THE MAORI LAND COMMISSION.
•—— The Maori Land Commission has completed an investigation of the position of the lands held by the Ngati Rangitihi tribe, east of Rotorua. It is understood that the native owners are willing to sell a lease to the Government, 12,000 or 14,000 acres, much of it good land. Six Robert Stout and Mr. Ngata leave Auckland on Saturday next for Dargaville, where a sitting of the Commission will be held.
