NORTH ISLAND DAIRY SCHOOL
PALMERSTON SITE CHOSEN. (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Cabinet decided to locate the dairy school for the North Island at Palnierston North on land offered by the Agricultural Association in its show grounds. This carries with it 45 acres presented by the borough as endowment. Another endowment, from which some £3000 has already accumulated, is 90 acres at Waimatc, Taranaki. The school will be in charge of Mr. Singleton, acting dairy commissioner. The otfier sites considered wore at Hawera, Stratford, Feilding, and Levin. Palinerston's accessibility,' and the fact that accommodation for pupils is available in the town, weighed with the Government in fßeir choice.
