The police have been advised that a native named Kine Hutana was found at ' Woodville last evening shot through the breast, with a gun beside him, the-cir-: cumstances suggesting suicide. Hutana was out on bail on a charge or:petty theft, and was also suspected of a further theft. The deceased was interviewed - Iby a constable at Porangahau' on Thurs- . ' day last, and after the interview he . stole the constable's horse and got away. The rille with which the deed was committed is alf>o supposed to havo been stolen. ■ . . DIVORCE.
