"Tho ))aily "telegraph' has for two or three years been obtaining weather reports from all the large liners crossing the Atlantic. The cost of Mr. Marconi's trans-Atlantic service is about half of that of the cables, and it is understood that the newspapers are only awaiting assurance of its thorough reliability to give it preference over the older system.]
