BIRKENHEAD NOTES.

I ° The Wesley Guild met on Friday evening, the meeting being a devotional one. Mr 0. Paterson took the chair, and Miss Graham was responsible for an excellent paper, after which an interesting discussion by members took place. The reopening of the Young Men's Social Club took place in the Zion Hall on Monday evening. Items were rendered by Misses Clow, and Unsworth and Mr C. W-Hscn. Progressive games were indulged, in, after which light refreshment was dispensed. Tie meeting, concluded with a quoit tournament, the winner being Miss •I 11. Hadfjeld. with. Miss-. E. Low one point ! behind, second.
