GIRL SHOOTS HERSELF.
SUICIDE AT FIFTEEN (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Early this morning Catherine M. Mead, a girl fifteen years of age, shot herself through the breast at her parent's residence in St. Kilda. It appears that the girl's mother rebuked her at 9.30 last evening for having been out late. This morning the mother found her at 5.45 a.m., sitting, halfdressed, on a bed. A little while after the mother heard a shot, and, rushing in, found her daughter collapsed on the floor, with a loaded six-chambered revolver beside her. One chamber was discharged. The girl was quite dead.
