Division of Lancashire, orin" to pressure of other duties, declines re-election to the chairmanship oi the Parliamentary Labour Party. Mr Shaekelton. addressing his censtitu ents advocated the raising of 17A millions' yearly from all those whose incomes exceed €5000 ve.irlv toward old nge pensions of 5/ weekly. He declared that those at the top could stand a little bit oS without running short.
