A young man named McLennan sustained a broken leg whilst working at the Chelsea Sugar Works Wharf this morning. He was assisting in the discharging of a sling of angle-iron, which slipped, inflicting the fracture below the knee. He was conveyed to the hospital.
The Kamo Presbyterians bade tbeir minister, MeridetJa Soule, farewell on tlie 29th, and presented him with a plump purse of sovereigns. Mr. 'G.
