WAIHI NEWS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Monday. Messrs H. Poland and T. Y. Seddon, M.'s.P., intend passing through the Ohineinuri electorate within a week, and it is expected that both will give political addresses. The second annual reunion of tbe Waihi portion of ex-students of the Otago School of Mines took place on Saturday night, when there was a good gathering. Among the guests was Dr. Black. Professor of Chemistry at the Otago University, who presided. A most interesting and profitable evening was spent. The following geutlcmen contributed to the programme: —Messrs It. E. Williams, W. McKinnou, G. A. Ulrich, L. M. Jolly. 11. Mitchell. W. Gibson, J. N. Quick, and G. L. llercus.
