- SOCIALIST LOGIC.

.. (To the Editor.). Sir, —I think if "Only an Apprentice" had' attended Ben Tillett's lectures he would not have -written the letter he did in your valuable paper of the 25th inst. Does "Only an Apprentice" know that Mr. Tillett gave us an array of figures, showing how the children of the better off thrived as compared with those of tho poor. Surely "Apprentice" would not have us wish for the environment of the millionaire or "dook." We don't want them. I advise "Only an Apprentice" to go and hear Mr. Tillett; he may benefit, if not too near the end of his apprenticeship.—l am, etc., * L X- " E. K. HARRISON."
