RE ENGINEERS' DISPUTE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —As one of the employers' representatives before the Court of Arbitration on Thursday last, when the engineers' dispute was being dealt with, I desire to explain that what Mr Masefield and the employers wished to imp' 3 upon the Court was the fact that, in their opinion, there was only one in ten of their employees in the engineering department competent to receive the minimum wage demanded by the union, namely, 11/ per day.-—I am, etc., CHAS.
