A MINER INJURED.

(By Telcgrapn. —Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. A man named Alfred fiergeant met with a painful acident in the Crown Mine, Karangahake, last night. He was unable to get away from a shot soon enough and a piece of rock struck him heavily on the hip and ribs, causing severe flesh wounds. Particulars of the occurrence are scanty, but it is stated that no bones were broken.
