GREAT COMPOSER PASSES AWAY.
(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 7.22 a.m.) LONDON, September 5. The sudden death is announced today of Edward Hagerup Grieg., the great Norwegian composer. Three months ago —on June 15—musicians celebrated the sixty-fourth birthday of this master, who, unknown to many, was of Scottish descent.
