Neither team was fully represented, and a poor" display of football was witnessed. Wairarapa had the best game, and" won by 11 points to three; Gray scored a try for Wairarapa, which E. Mackenzie converted, and the latter also kicked two goals. Martin scored a try for Manawatu. Groube aiid H. North Otago v. South Canterbury, played to-day in fine weather, was won by South Canterbury by 14 points to 12. In the first spell North Otago scored 9 points to their opponents' three, and in the second spell South Canterbury, scored 11 points to North Otago" s three, the game resulting as above.
