Neither team was fully represented, and a poor" display of football was witnessed. Wairarapa had the best game, and" won by 11 points to three; Gray scored a try for Wairarapa, which E. Mackenzie converted, and the latter also kicked two goals. Martin scored a try for Manawatu. Groube aiid H. McKebzie, of the Wairarapa team, were injured in the second spell and both retired, Wairarapa playing with 13 men for half of the spell. MATCHES AT OAMAE.TJ. OAifABTJ, Thursday. A football match. North Otago v. South Canterbury, played to-day in fine weather, was won by South Canterbury by 14 points to 12. In the first spell North Otago scored 9 points to their opponents' three, and in the second spell South Canterbury, scored 11 points to North Otago" s three, the game resulting as above. The combined schools of North Otago and South Canterbury also played a match, which was won by the latter by 18 points to nil. ASSOCIATION.
