There is a great demand, on the West Coast of the South Islaad, for hardwood timber for railway -works and other purposes, and there are orders in hand for upwards of two thousand piles and a large quantity of hewn timber. At the present time, there are loading at the Clarence Paver, New Sonth Wales, the bargees Hippolas and Daniells, and the anxtliary baxquentaae Bio lioge. All these are expected to leave, iof Cfereynwitth. -dining ihe M-eek.
