ODIGKATION OF WORKERS,

LONDON, July 25. Tt is the intention of the Secretary of jk^.for War (Mr. Haldane) to further zXnce the personnel of Woolwich final by 3000 men, making 8000 the *2hn_m peace strength, whereas it was jKrly 15,000. The proposal has caused indignation * ffoolwich, and the engineers have deeded a strike, which, however, their Sets-have overruled. Tjjie workmen are now appealing to the jgjxrar members of Parliament.
