Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman induced the House of Commons to authorise the closuring of the debate on the Evicted Tenants Bill.
j Mr. Balfour declared that the late Government had regarded the closure as a drug to be administered to sick patients, but the present Government treated it a.s members' daily food.
