AMUSEMENTS.
O'NEILL'S BUCKJUMPERS.
The public attended-in good numbers again lass evening to witness the skilful ODd daring exhibitions of equestrianism given by the brothers O'Neill at the "Freeman's Bay location. One of the most entertaining features was the amateur riding competition for Mr. Kohn's gold medal, the successful competitor. Mr. Neuman. maintaining his seal for 37 seconds. The company and Mr. M. YV alsh have each donated a trophy, to be competed for to-morrcw night by amateur riders. To-morrow afternoon the only matinee of the season will take place, when special concessions will he made to ladies and children. The entertainment in the evening will conclude a highly successiul season.
OPERA HOUSE.
The Opera House was largely attended last evening, when the present week's programme received well-merited appreciation. Professor Klaer and Miss Amy Klaer will make their last appearance to-nighi with their troupe of wonderfully trained animais. Little Eileen O'Neill, a child instrumentalist of extraordinary talent, will make her initial tow to an Auckland audience to-morrow night, while among other re-appearances ■will be Oct.avia and Warns, sketch art-is-t.-. and Walker and Hughes, a pair of Jarticrdarly dexterous jugglers.
