Sir Francis C. -lurnand (late editor of " Punch ) , £200. " Ouida " (M<_le. Louisa de la RameeJ, the well-known novelist, £150.
Miss Matilda Betham-Edwards (poet, novelist, and writer on French rural life), an additional £50.
Mr. John Davidson (poet and playwright), £100.
Mr. George Howell (ex-Labour member of the House of Commons), £150.
Two granddaughters of Robert Burns, fIOO.
