NORTH SHOE-IS V. EVERTON. This same was played at the Shore, and, alter a fast and exciting same, resulted in. a ■win for Kverton by two goals to 1. Dacre scored for Shore, after a scramble in goal. Bad shooting by tlie Shore forwards lost a number of chances. Shore were -handicapped in tile first spell by piaytttg one man short, and in the second spell Buddie had to retire, owing to a nasty Rick on the leg. For Everton. Edmunds {in goal) playetl a fine game, while for Shore Knizrit and Bnll r >cks (in tiw backs) played sound games. The forwards as a whole played well, but lacked combination. Mr. Casil gave every satisfaction as referee. CORINTHIANS V. PONSONBY. Corinthians defeated Ponsonby by two goals to nil. Both goals were scored by Archer, who shoe them early in the second spell. Thence out Ponsonby were on the defensive all through.
JENIOR __TCHES. j North Shore 11. v. St. John's.—This resuited in a win for Shore by five goals to ! nil. L. Smith (2). Burgess (1), Oakden ill, and Townsend (1) were the scorers for Shore. North Snore 111. A v. Arawa B.—This ' match resulted in a win for the Shore team : by two goals to one. Allen and Flemin_ I scored for the -winners. North Shore 111. B v. Iriivj A.—This resulted in a win for Arawa A by tivo I go-!!* to nii. Gaild v. Sr. Dav-.-!"s.—Guild won Dy ' three joals to ail. " i W.Y.M.I. A v. St. Peter's.—W. V.M.1.. playing one man sitort. won by five goals to one. The scorers for the winners were I C. Eyre i'3i, Mitford. and H. Gribble" W.Y.M.I. B v. Tabernacle.—Tabernacle won by two goals to one.
