POINT CHEVALIF.R "ROAD EOABD. i The Point Chevalier Road Board met on j Wednesday evening, Mr Thomas Dlgnan I presiding. Messrs Samuel McWilliams ! and Joseph Hoskins were also present. It was decided, on the district health ! officer's rpf-oiamendatlon. to have a house- ! to-hemse inspection made throughout the ] district. In connection with a letter trom the town clerk of Grey I.ynn. Mr Peter Collins (chairman} am] Mr T. Dlgnan were appointed to call on the Mayor of Grey Lynn and discuss matters iv connection with the Arch 13111 deviation and improvement'to the Great North-road. The clerk reported the general fund to he £14 in credit. H was resolved to insert an advertisement in the newspapers warning people against removing stones from Mr Roseraan's fence, and also to e.reet a notire board over the wall bearing a similar warning, KINGSLAND SUNDAY -SCHOOL. A very enthusiastic meeting was held in the Kingsland Sunday-school on Thursday mening. The Rev. A. X. Scotter occupied : ihe chair. j The meeting was called to consider ways ! ,-;_ el means to raise funds to erect a new ! Sunday-school next year, 190.5, and to celeI brate the anniversary of the opening of I the church and school known as the Whaui roacl Wesley Church, which was comI pleted and opened in 1858. j l"r Bridgman, one of the treasurers, reported having about £100 in hand, aud guaranteed to collect, or give the sum of £'>'>.
