Words of the English Language only will , be admitted, such as are to be found In a standard English Dictionary. Webster's International Dictionary of the English Language (1901) will be taken for reference, and any word not found in that work will be \ excluded. All words which occur In "Webster's • Diet, of the E.L.," whether archaic, obso- _ lete, or colloquial English, will be allowed, ; together with plurals formed by adding "s" j or otherwise, comparatives, superlatives, 1 and other recognised derivatives. The affix 1 to make verbs "3rd person singular" will , be allowed, but the affix "est" or "st" to . make "2nd person singular" . will NOT. be \ admitted.
