On her departure by the express for Auckland, Miss Marie was presented ■with, two beautiiul basket boquet3 by the Catholic children of Karangahake and Paeora. Misses Moriarty Conway and Lucas made the presentation, and also handed Miss.Narelle an address from the pupils. The Rev. Dean Hackett introduced the children, and on their behalf and representing their parents, wished Miss Narelle every success during her tour through Americ*, where she i 3 shortly to take a leading part in an Irish, drama that has beea specially composed for her by a leading American author. _ ._
