GREY LYNN POSTAL DELIVERY. • (To the Editor.) Sir,—ln your issue of last evening I notice a letter over the title of "Swift," in which the writer "is astonished to learn that there is no postal delivery in tne district on Saturday afternoons." "Swift" must be a new arrival in the colony not to have known that fact long ere this. If he is not a new arrival, I should suggest that he change his name to "Rip Van Winkle," as he has surely been asleep. Residents in other districts beside his have to deny themselves the privilege of a Saturday afternoon delivery, but they have the consolation of knowing that an oft-times overload postman is enjoying his weekly halfholiday along with the rest of the community. Has "Swift" ever given a moment's consideration to the postman, who day after day, week in and week out, trudge through the mud and slush in the winter-time and sub tropical heat and dust m the summer, heavily laden with missives that bring to their recipients all the varied emotions that flesh is heir to?
