The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Wakanui will prouably leave for the south to-morrow. She returns to Auckland In about two weeks' time to load cargo for West Coast of United Kingdom ports and London, but whether she will make thla her final port or finish her loading in the South is not known at present. A peculiar coincidence in connection with the voyage of the Lalia Rookh, which arrived at Hobart on June 2U (says an exchange}, is that she sailed from London on March 13, crossed the equator on April 13, the meridian of the Cape of Good Hope on May 13, and reached the South-west Cape of Tasmania on June 13. To complete the story, she carries a crew of thirteen. The s.s. Tavluni, sailing for Fiji at noon to-morrow, takes the following passengers who have booked by the R.M.s.
