OPERA HOUSE.
The Opera House was well patronised last evenin?, and the various turns all came in for liberal appreciation. Ajax, the human crocodile, made his final appearance. The clever Bovis Bros, will reappear on Saturday night, and Mr. Lex. McLean, Scottish athlete and heavy weight lifter, will on the same night make his fhrst bow to an Auckland audience.
'SINBAD THE SAILOR."
The third production of "Sinbad the Sailor" by the Anderson Pantomime Company drew another crowded audience to Hia Majesty's last evening, when the play was greatly appreciated. A matinee performance of the piece was given this afternoon. The pantomime will be repeated to-night.
PALACE OF AMUSEMENTS.
The Olympia Skating Ring Company are dearly catering to the public with no small measure of success, as evidenced by the numbers that nightly attend the Palace of Amuseraents. in Coburg-street. A feature of this evening's programme will be a farewell attendance of the officers and crew of the American warship Baltimore. The management announce also that to-night a branch rink will be opened in the Onehunga Public Hall, when a number of the company's artists will appear.
Mr J. S. Bond (Mayor of Hamilton) left by the Ramwa yesterday to attend the funeral cf the late Premier.
