• (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) SOUTHLAND VALUATIONS. INYERCARGILL, this day. The new valuations for the borough of Invercargill show a capital value, of £1,532,497, being an increase of 17 per cent on the previous valuation; and an unimproved value of £ 689,770, being an increase of 32 per cent. For the borough of Gore the. capital value, amounting to £417,132, shows an increase of 31 per cent, and the unimproved value, amountinc to £183,000, an increase of 73 per cent. Terence Patrick O'Brien was found not guilty of breaking and entering at Wairoa, Robert Morgan pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking and entering at Kaikora, and was remanded for sentence. WELLINGTON, this day. Mrs. Dick, who was injured in the train accident yesterday, was cut by falling glass, and is suffering slightly from shock, but her daughter is uninjured.
