Alburnia.—The main tunnel is now again _ passing through liard country, though not of quite so hard a nature as that met with hpfore pas-sing through the 4ft reef cut Jast ■ week. Thames.—The manager reports that driving for the past week has been continued .- in the south drive on No. 1 reef, and a disc canoe of 32ft lias been driven. New Saxon.—Sloping operations on the i- block of ground on the Cardigan Nn. 1 reef '. above No. 4 level are being continued in the New Saxon mine.
