POPULATION OF WATHI. (By Telegraph.—Own Corrcßponaentel WAim, this day. Mr F. C. R. Evans, census enumerator for the district, states that the returns forwarded to him by the sub-enumera-tors in Wailii give the population of Waibi Borough at 6086, being an increase of 2274 since last census, the population at that time being 3812. The figures given yesterday were approximate returns. OTHER RETURNS. (By Telegraph.— Preas Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The census returns ior Mosgiel give a population of 1508, againet 1463 M 1901, -an increase of 45. ,• "\ f = Eltham, Borough, 1328, showing; an increase of 315 since the district was proclaimed a. borough nearly five years ago. .. - New Plymouth, 5147, an increase of 732 since 1901. Bay of Islands, 2706, increase 93. Ohinemuri County, 5912; WaiHi Borough, {previously included in Ohinemuri County), 6086; total; increase 1970. Taranga County 2005, increase ,285;; Tauranga Borough 1057, increase 111! WANGANTJI, this day. The population of Wanganui borough and suburbs, according to the census returns,, is 12,321—an increase of 1801 since the last census.
