Ibe second annual meeting of this company was held yesterday afternoon at the office. Custom-street West. A large number of shareholders were, present Mr Wv J. Parker, chairman of directors, ; presiding. The directors' report and balancesheet were, read and adopted. The qpejratione of the company for the year-were ihighly satisfactory, exhibiting a well-sus-; talned and expanding business. A divlderid at the rate of 10 per cent per annum for the .half-year was declared, payable on the 21st inst. Messrs W. J. Ptirker and C. J. Parr, the retiring directors, were reelected, and Mr R. E. Isaace was re-, elected auditor. Mr Hazard proposed on behalf of the shareholders a cordial vote of thanks to the directors, manager, and, employees of the company, and congratulated them on the healthy position and promising outlook <of the concern. He uaid the fact that the largest sharelio'dera were buyers and none of them sellers of their stock indicated their full confidence in the company as a reliable investment. The iuotion was seconded by Mr enthrie, carried, and duly responded to. A vote ot thanks to the chairman, brought the. meeting to a close.
